NOTIFICATION UNDER SECTION 143
CONFIRMATION OF NEW VALUATION LIST
IN exercise of the powers conferred by Sections 137, 141, 142 and 163, Local Government Act 1976 (Act 171), Simpang Renggam District Council with the approval of the State Authority has prepared a valuation of 448 additional holdings of the New Valuation List for the Existing Valuation List in the area of Mukim Ulu Benut, Machap, Layang-Layang and Renggam within the Simpang Renggam District Council area for the meaning of the property tax which will be enforced on 1st January 2026.
Hence, notice that under the provisions of section 143, Local Government Act 1976, the State Authority has confirmed 448 additional holdings of the New Valuation List for the Existing Valuation List using Tone of the List 2020 and rate based on the type and usage of holdings that applies within the administration of Simpang Renggam District Council area with the existing rate that has come into effective on 1st January 2025.
The New Valuation List which has been approved and confirmed by the State Authority applies until such time as it is replaced by another Valuation List and the Valuation List which has been confirmed by the State Authority will be kept by the Simpang Renggam District Council. All owners and residents can check the Valuation List Simpang Renggam District Council Office, Jalan Persiaran Muafakat, 86200 Simpang Renggam, Johor during office hours.
